Former mine in Minas Gerais, offering a guided tour of the 300 m-long, 120 m-deep gallery.
This is the oldest mine in Minas Gerais! Since the beginning of its exploitation in the 18th century, about 35 tons of precious metal have been extracted here. The descent into the underground galleries is done in a cart used by the miners, along a gallery of more than 300 meters, up to 120 meters deep. You can see the chapels dedicated to the patron saints of the black slaves and a natural lake. The water temperature is stable throughout the year. A guide accompanies the visit with interesting explanations.

interesting mine especially by what the guide is very professional. the enfaants will not that being seduces and attentive would not be by the descent in trolley almost verticale~ has. it is a shame that the banks of this mine are not very well maintained
