Excellent English-speaking guide and environmentalist guide offering horseback rides in the Ouro Preto region.

This excellent French-speaking guide has a passion for Mariana, Ouro Preto and Minas Gerais in general. He is a connoisseur of baroque art and will show with competence and simplicity the artistic and architectural splendors of the region. Kenyo est compétant, cultivé, prévenant. Nous avons passé un moment passionnant en sa compagnie à la découverte d'Ouro Preto. C'est un amoureux de sa région ( et de la France!)

Une découverte clef en main de Mariana, Ouro Preto et Conginhas grâce à Kenio qui nous a fait revivre l'histoire et la culture de cette superbe région avec enthousiasme. Il est disponible et à l'écoute de nos attentes. Il parle un français excellent et clair sans avoir jamais eu l occasion de venir en France, au point de l'idéaliser. Très attachant, il toujours une anecdote à raconter. Avec lui vous saurez tout du 'petit handicapė' et aurez sa version très personnelle mais amusante de la culture catholique !

Hello, back from Belo Horizonte, we met Kênio which guided us on Mariana and Ouro Pretto. Reasonable prices, very honest boys pointed knowledge of the area, architecture and local anecdotes. It speak excellent French, as well as Spanish. We could go (by car provides transport in the price service) to the gold rosette region that still find gold in rivers, visit topaz mines self-managed by villagers,... horseback riding to discover preserved nature, or courses gold washing are possible at low prices. I strongly recommend to call for your stay, including Rio de Janeiro. We have to its sides the best part of our stay.
I advise you to stay at least one night in a pousada with Mariana and to several days to a local rhythm to discover the magnificent sites, the excellent cuisine, and meet adorable people of these regions.

That is not to have met Kenyo, Brazilian, French-speaking and in love with France, inexhaustible source of cultural anecdotes and everyday life with Marianna, birthplace.
We met on the place Minas Gerais de Marianna and we stayed throughout the day for a visit to the city centre of Marianna. In the afternoon, it took us along one of the rare imperial topaz mines and the next morning, it has to present to his brother-in-law, gold digger in river, which allowed us an authentic meeting off the beaten track.
We have these days excellent souvenir.
