Park on a hill just beside the bridge, with a small Nossa Senhora da Guia chapel overlooking part of the region
The morro da guia is a park located on a hill right next to the bridge. As its name indicates, it is a morne, that is to say a promontory. It is easy to climb up and from the top you have an interesting view. At the very top there is a small chapel, Nossa Senhora da Guia, which offers a superb view over part of the region. It is this chapel which gave the name to the morne. You can see the lagoon and the whole beach. We can appreciate the Caribbean landscapes, the beaches with crystal clear waters that make the reputation of Cabo Frio.
