Ideal sunset beach, at the start of Ipanema Bay, for surfers and body-boarders

Arpoador beach (and the rocky point of the same name, which means "harpooner" in Portuguese) is located at the beginning of the bay of Ipanema, facing posto 7. It's a great place for surfers and body-boarders. To the left of the rock is the small wild beach of Diabo (the Devil), nicknamed so because of its incessant swirls. From the top of the rock, there is a beautiful view of the districts of Ipanema and Leblon. It is here that the sunset is the most spectacular with the superb view of the bay of Ipanema and the sun passing between the Dois Irmãos mountains.

Un lieu totalement mythique de Rio qu’il ne faut pas rater. Y aller idéalement au coucher de solei. Le moment est magique.... poétique. Les cariocas applaudissent, c’est un très bon moment de partage.

Beau rocher sur lequel il y a souvent du monde. Si l'on cherche la tranquillité, préférer le Fort.
Belles photos à prendre de ce point de vue.
D'un côté, sur une petite anse, (Copacabana), des sportifs, beach volleyeurs et socceurs... De l'autre, la plage d'Ipanema.
