A small, popular beach in a haven of peace, perfect for relaxing after enjoying the climb to the top of Sugarloaf
A small beach in Rio, little known by tourists, the Vermelha beach (red, it is said, from the blood of the Indians massacred by the Portuguese conquistadores in the 17th century) is a haven of peace between the morro d'Urca and the morro de Leme, right at the exit of the Guanabara bay. You can come and rest there after having enjoyed the climb to the top of the Sugarloaf, and even dip your feet in (but not more, swimming is not very recommended...). This small popular beach is much less frequented than the big beaches of the southern zone.

Profitez de cette même vue au restaurant Terra Brasilis en dégustant deux caipirinha et un bobo de camarão, plat typique brésilien, très copieux.
