Beach in the southern part of Rio de Janeiro, offering the chance to play soccer and volleyball on the sand
The beach of Botafogo, in the south zone of Rio de Janeiro, is not very frequented because it is polluted, in spite of the superb view on the Sugar Loaf and a magnificent cove sheltering the yacht club of the city. A little soccer and volleyball on the sand, nevertheless. Nowadays, the beach of Botafogo, or rather the gardens that adjoin it, and the points of interest of the district (museu do Indio, Rui Barbosa's house, Vila-Lobos museum) make this district of the South zone more and more attractive, and this is quite normal, because its situation is exceptional.

Belle vue
La vue sur le Pain de Sucre est magnifique, mais par contre il n'y a pas un chat sur la plage , car on ne peut pas s'y baigner en raison de la pollution. A voir seulement si on est dans le quartier car ne vaut pas un grand détour ...
