Museum with three rooms featuring a permanent exhibition of scores, instruments, various objects...
The small late 19th century house houses a collection of personal objects that belonged to the famous Brazilian classical music composer, Heitor Villa-Lobos (1887-1959), famous for his Bachianas brasileiras. The museum was created in 1960 by his second wife, Dona Arminda, and the permanent exhibition occupies three rooms that present scores, correspondence, photographs, videos, instruments, various objects, videos. The museum's musical program is interesting. In the garden, a small acoustic conch allows open-air concerts.
