CLUBE DOS DEMOCRÁTICOS
The Clube dos Democráticos recalls the Brazil of yesteryear, in another Rio before modernity and emergence. Inaugurated more than 150 years ago, in 1867, this large ballroom is transformed into a Mecca for samba or forró nordestin (on Tuesdays). In an Art Deco setting, the dancers unleash their energy! As is often the case in Brazil, it's ideal for those who want to try out the local dances. You can take to the dance floor without apprehension, and it's easy to find a rider to guide you! Long queues on weekends, so get there early.
