COBAL se trouve dans le quartier de Leblon . En journée c´est un vrai marché, avec fleurs, fruits, légumes, etc, et le soir, il se transforme en bars, restaurants et pizzerias. Très populaires, ce marché est un point de rencontre presque incontournable sur Rio ; le public est de tous les âges et de tous les styles, chacun y trouve son ambiance. Des concerts ont lieu tous les soirs et des fêtes y sont régulièrement organisées, comme le samedi soir oú la samba est á l´honneur !
