Enjoying a good ice cream during the Carioca summers is an intense happiness. Some have described the discovery of a Mil Frutas store as Ali Baba's discovery of the diamond cave. The Mil Frutas ice cream shop in Ipanema is one of the branches of one of the best ice cream shops in Rio (there are several other locations in Rio, including one in Shopping Leblon). It also serves juices, coffees, soups and salads. The variety of flavors is almost as infinite as that of Brazilian fruits. Some contain alcohol. A very good place.
