For juice lovers, here's a must-have in Rio! The chain has chosen to set up its stalls in many areas of the southern zone. The Bibi Sucos de Leblon is a place where you can eat for cheap in a rather expensive area. One can also nibble hamburgers, sandwiches and Brazilian sweets. The portions are generous. Many Brazilians come for the vegetarian dishes of Bibi Sucos. The salads are very good and the acai juices are not to be outdone. Many addresses (Copacabana, Jardim Botânico...).

We enter the world of pastry. For 45 years, the colher de pau has excelled in homemade sweets, including the famous brigadeiro (chocolate and condensed milk) and the excellent rocambole de chocolate, which can be foundas a specialty in Tiradentes. The pies come in a thousand varieties: strawberry charlotte, passion fruit, lemon and walnut pies. The salted cakes like pasteis are also very good. Of course, there is a large number of wooden spoons from all over the world (colher de pau) sent by friends from all over the world as decoration.

If you want to eat a quick and very good thing in the center of Ipanema, after the beach or during your shopping, take a break at Mustafá. It is simple, but the service is good. Only three tables on the terrace. Tabbouleh salad, stuffed grape leaves with rice, pumpkins, aubergines and stuffed peppers, rice with lentils. Fried kibes, spinach or cheese have left us a good memory. If you still have a little hunger, there are chocolate pies, coconuts, or orange rocamboles.

A "Santa Fit" menu has been elaborated by chef Carol Figueiredo for those who want to eat healthy and light.

In the very pleasant and cosy setting of Parc Lage, this establishment is making a name for itself in Rio, and rightly so. Le Plage Café serves good-quality breakfasts, lunches and dinners. A comprehensive menu offers both light dishes, salads and sandwiches, as well as a choice of hearty dishes. Delicious coffee and jazzy background music. An enchanting place to start the day, but also to end it, as the menu offers a good choice of cocktails, to be consumed in moderation, and well-crafted tapas.
