This defense tower with the air of a small castle is one of the largest of its kind on the island

A defensive tower built between 1801 and 1802 by the English to protect the entrance to the port of Fornells and the castle of Sant Antoni (of which only ruins remain). It has four levels: the cistern dug in the basement, the first floor where weapons and supplies were stored, the second floor used for accommodation and the upper level where the artillery platform was installed. Visits possible in season. The architecture of the tower is of little interest, but the site offers a beautiful view of the bay.

Une tour banale mais qui offre un joli point de vue sur la mer. Le village est sympa à visiter et on y trouve des petits restos sympathiques. Le petit port est sympa.
