An unusual train ride along the railroad line from Ambert and Allègre, passing through tunnels, bridges and viaducts.
From Ambert, Arlanc or La Chaise-Dieu, board the Picasso, Panoramique or Bleu d'Auvergne. In summer, enjoy the sunshine: open-air railcars complement the railcar for a unique experience. For a complete trip between Ambert and La Chaise-Dieu, allow half a day for the round trip. On the program: 85 km of track, 17 tunnels and 18 bridges and viaducts. For an original getaway, try the velorails departing from Ambert and Allègre.

Leuk oud station, een leuk begin van een lekker.ouderwetse trein rit

Grand espace de parking, toilette publique à proximité. Dans la gare on peut réserver ses billets pour le train touristique et trouver de quoi boire ainsi que des souvenirs.

Petit gaté d'antan pour train touristique avec entrepôt de réparations de trains fermer en Mars mais doit être bien sympa à faire au beau jours dans la vallée du Forez

Dommage que cette ligne de train entre Ambert ( ville d'Alexandre Vialatte) ne fonctionne que l'été et que ce ne soit qu'une ligne touristique !
