RAMBLA TOWER

Almost entirely preserved in its original state, the Torre de Rambla (Sa Torreta or Torre des Tamarells) is a coastal defense tower erected by the English between 1799 and 1802 and renovated in 2023! It can be found on Cap Rambla, which separates Cala de Sa Torreta from Cala dels Tamarells. It comprises a first floor (used to store both food and gunpowder), an intermediate floor (housing the garrison responsible for guarding the tower) and an observation and fighting terrace.
