Aigueperse's place of life, where he joys, discusses, negotiates, or admires works at various artistic, commercial, and cultural events. Previously, the Halle, built in the Middle Ages and then reorganized, and especially enlarged several times during the th century, was destined for the wheat trade. It then housed the weekly market, before it was finally organised on the small square behind the building. In the th century, the municipality had two other halls, mainly for the trade in walnuts and butter.
