3-storey tower, quadrangular in shape, with a museum hosting exhibitions and concerts
The Tower of Canyamel is one of the most outstanding defensive buildings in Mallorca due to its age, its good conservation and the splendid views it affords. It is quadrangular in shape and has three floors rising to a height of 23 metres. It was built in the 13th century. Surrounded by a triple fortified enclosure, it was built on the basis of an ancient Muslim construction already intended for the defence of the beach of Canyamel. Today it hosts exhibitions, concerts and a small museum dedicated to its history.
