Superb large underground lake, the largest in the world, which can be visited with light effects and accompanying music

Majestuous, they are discovered after a 2 km journey of surprising beauty thanks to the presence of 5 lakes. They became famous after the father of the speleology, the French Edouard Martel, explored in 1896 the lake which had since its name and, on the other side, the "cave of the French". Lake Martel is the largest underground lake in the world (177 m long, 40 m wide). You will be sensitive to the beauty of the journey, the efforts of guides, the effects of lights and the accompanying music.

Visite impressionnante dans ces grottes se concluant par un petit concert d'un orchestre sur une barque qui rajoute une pointe d'originalité dans ce décor naturel.

Une visite intéressante à Porto Cristo si le beau temps n'est pas au rendez-vous. La grotte est vaste et on peut admirer les différentes formations rocheuses. De plus on peut assister au petit concert d'un orchestre sur un barque au milieu d'un lac souterrain (compris dans le billet). Le prix d'entrée est un peu trop élevé.

These caves are impressive, you can visit them on foot and pass between the huge stalactites, there are also lakes and the visit ends with a concert on the water and a boat crossing.
