The whole town comes here for bread, but also for pastries, with tasty individual cakes. Special breads and, when you're feeling peckish, well-stocked sandwiches and bagels. In 1875, baker Machabert perfected the Yssingeaux brioche, flavored with a hint of orange blossom. Annick and Damien Debard carry on the tradition, with this sourdough and fresh butter brioche with its distinctive soft texture, made with local produce.
