Good points; location, gym/sauna, pool, friendly staff, good beds, beautiful view.
Poor quality breakfast, room quality outdated, overpriced. Poor price quality ratio.

I slept in many hotels past weeks and the trend I see in Mallorca; When mass tourism is driven solely by profit, the soul disappears from hospitality But this boomerang will return sooner or later.

Wir waren Anfang März für drei Nächte im Ca‘l Bisbe. Das Hotel hat einen guten Standort, man ist schnell zu Fuß in der Stadt. Der dazugehörige Parkplatz liegt etwa 5 Minuten Fußweg entfernt. In unmittelbarer Umgebung befindet sich ein Supermarkt, auch die Anbindung ist super.

Der Check-In verlief reibungslos, großes Kompliment an den Mitarbeiter Sebastian an der Rezeption. Ein sehr freundlicher und ruhiger Mann, der übrigens auch fließend deutsch spricht.

Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, das war mir das Wichtigste. Auch das Frühstück war toll!

Die Sauna ist ein nettes Extra, schade ist nur, dass sie nicht einstellbar ist und die Temperatur festgelegt ist. Mit 100 Grad Celsius war das leider too much für uns, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Der Fitnessraum sah anständig aus. Das türkische Dampfbad befand sich gerade in Sanierung, das konnten wir leider nicht nutzen.

Einen Stern Abzug gibt es leider für die Hellhörigkeit der Zimmer. Man konnte die Nachbarn gähnen hören und hat durch die Geräuschkulisse draußen durch Lieferanten oder Touristen nicht allzu erholsam geschlafen.

Dennoch können wir das Hotel empfehlen und würden auch nochmal wiederkommen. Überzeugt haben uns Personal, Sauberkeit und das Frühstück!

We had a fantastic stay in this beautiful hotel. It has a very Spanish feel to it and was exactly what we were after.

The location is great: tucked down a quiet road just minutes away from the square. The perfect spot for hiking into the mountains, walking to the port or enjoying the ambiance of the town in the evening.

The room was comfortable but in need of a little modernisation.

Très bien situé avec un parking à 500 m hyper pratique..tout le personnel est sympathique à l'accueil au petit dej???? la literie nickel..nous étions au rdc et c'est vrai que sur les photos de l'hôtel on pense voir la piscine mais en fait une haie a poussé depuis????????mais au calme du coup. Rien à dire près du bus du tram des restos même si on a préféré manger à port de soller pour l'ambiance...on recommande cet hôtel +++++

Hotel con mucho encanto e historia. Gran detalle y sorpresa la sauna y el gimnasio. Habitación más simple pero con una cama muy cómoda y grande! Personal atento y amable. Buena ubicación justo en el centro de Soller

It was just okay at best.

Location- this was excellent just around the corner from the old town and in close proximity to transport links.

Rooms - these were very basic and bare, more like hostel than hotel rooms. There were no bins in the rooms which was a bit odd. Just a tiny one in the bathroom. Understandbly people with kids were then leaving their used nappies outside the room (can't blame them they need to go somewhere) but these would remain outside the room all day and not cleared up.

Restaurant - dinner was excellent really high class food and the tuna tartrate was just sensational.

Breakfast was a little frustrating. You order the day before and it all comes out when you're down in the morning. No issues with that it was just that the portions were just tiny. You can ask for more which we did on almost every occasion but it either didn't arrive or took a very long time. Towards the end we just didn't bother asking for more. The hotel isn't exactly cheap and with the rooms basic you'd expect more than an 8th an avocado and a slice of salmon. They loaded up on the cheaper food (cheese, ham etc).

Hotel Ca'l Bisbe was fantastic. The service from the staff was top tier, the rooms were roomy, well ventilated and ours had a fantastic view of Soller and the surrounding area. It was lovely and quiet. It was easy to reach, even with the narrow streets and traffic. Will definitely be coming back in the future.

This is a nice hotel but they are just not trying hard enough!
We normally stay in another hotel in Soller (more expensive) and I can now see why.
The authentic Mallorcan style and interiors of the hotel are nice, rooms are basic but clean. Bathrooms a little outdated. Housekeeping of a good standard although we had the same pool towels for a 14 night stay. Sadly we were contacted by the hotel a few weeks prior to our stay to advise that the hotel restaurant would be closed. This was a big issue as the only offering therefore at lunch was a baguette or a frozen pizza! Breakfast was also really basic and unimaginative. Don't know why we had to give our room number every day for breakfast when staying for 2 weeks - do they have a problem with people coming in and trying to blag a free breakfast? There was a bar to order drinks from throughout the day when at the pool but you had to go in and ask the staff - no-one ever came around offering drinks. The pool area is very "snug" when all rooms occupied - sun-beds are basic and quite uncomfortable and parasols far too small for shading you from the mid day heat. I liked this hotel but with a bit of effort and charisma from the management team, this hotel could be great. Staff were friendly but had to be engaged in conversation. They could have come around the pool offering drinks throughout the day. A buffet/cold/salad/ lunch would not have been beyond the stretch of the chef who provided breakfast. When we checked out and paid our bill we were not asked if we had enjoyed our stay / had transport arranged to the airport. A classic example of lack of management direction (rarely saw a manager around) A nice 3 star at best but could frustratingly be so much more.......

Es un hotel muy bonito

We loved staying at this hotel. It is a beautiful old hotel that feels super clean and comfortable. The staff was so nice and helpful as well. The room we got was spacious and had a terrace with an amazing view.

We stayed in both port de Alcudia and Soller and we definitely preferred Soller. It was more charming and the hotel felt genuinely nice and not like a tourist trap. Soller felt like a nice and calm base for your Mallorca trip. You can also get pretty much anywhere on the island within an hour by car.

We will be staying here again!

Smukt hotel!

Super friendly, good rooms and close walking distance to everything you need.

The location is very hard to find. There is only a small sign carved into the wall of a building that shows which street to enter into. When we entered the room it was cramped and very hot. We had to get the cleaning lady to help us turn on the air conditioning because it wouldn’t work. The bathroom was nice but everything else average. The fitness room really isn’t a fitness room, more like an at home gym. The breakfast didn’t have a lot of options but the orange juice was really good. The walk to town was short though but the road was very tiny and we could only fit one person on the sidewalk because cars kept coming by on the road. Not the worst but not the best stay.

Lovely hotel, great rooms and pool, only let down is currently no restaurant but you are only a 5 minute walk to soller centre. Great location
