Crescent-shaped island, like a peninsula when the lake empties, inviting to appreciate a splendid ornithological show

This island (or peninsula, when the lake empties), shaped like a crescent - hence its name - offers above all an exceptional ornithological spectacle. All hotels and campsites can provide a boat trip. Allow at least 2 hours on site. The best thing to do is to combine an early morning walk on Crescent Island with breakfast at Sanctuary Farm (the estate is in the continuity of the peninsula, you can walk from one to the other, if the water level allows it), or lunch if you start later.

Nous avons fait le tour de l île crescent en petit bateau. La balade vaut le coup, c est reposant et pour les connaisseurs on voit pleins d oiseaux.
