Dedicated to 20th century art and design, Design Museum Brussels has a collection of over 2,000 plastic objects.
Dedicated to 20th century art and design, Design Museum Brussels is located just a stone's throw from the Atomium (combined tickets possible). A permanent collection of 2,000 plastic objects, the Plastic Design Collection presents plastic from the most everyday to the work of art. A real journey through time, from the 1960s to the 2000s, tracing the impact of plastics on art and design. Innovative and surprising! Various temporary exhibitions throughout the year, including one on Zéphir Busine, painter, sculptor and ceramist, from April to August 2023.

Open every day from 11am to 7pm. Free for children up to 5 years old. Adults: 10 €. Children (from 6 to 17 years old): 8 €. Discount of €2 per person according to the class of fare. Discount of €2 with a Thalys ticket.
Message from Management
The Design Museum Brussels, initiated following the acquisition of a private collection by the Atomium, is a place dedicated to design and its history. Since 2015, the museum's collection, The Plastic Design Collection, has circumscribed the landscape of plastics in design from the 1950s to the present day.
Enriched by a program of temporary exhibitions, the Design Museum Brussels also explores other fields of design creation and their impact on society and our daily lives.
Through its exhibitions, guided tours, workshops, conferences and events, Design Museum Brussels aims to make design understandable and accessible to all.
