The Decroly School is a specialized school located in Uccle. Founded in 1907 by Doctor Ovide Decroly, it now has a thousand students aged 3 to 18. The school implements the pedagogical principles of its founder, such as observation, measurement, interdisciplinarity and moving from the concrete to the abstract. It also attaches great importance to the class group and a global approach to the child. The Decroly School emphasizes pedagogical continuity throughout the schooling process and is part of the FELSI, a network of non-denominational schools subsidized by the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. It transmits the values it defends to young people while reflecting on the pedagogy to be implemented in the contemporary world. The school is offering enrolment for 2023-2024, with places available in 1st and 2nd kindergarten. Events such as the school fête are also organized.
