An exotic visit in the king's private garden not to be missed. The royal greenhouses of Laeken open to the public once a year.
The Royal Estate of Laeken, where King Philip and Queen Matilda live, dates from the 18th century. From the palace, you'll only get a quick glimpse. On the other hand, the Royal Greenhouses in Laeken, on the other hand, are open to the public once a year, for about three weeks in April or May. Built near the palace by Alphonse Balat, Victor Horta's master, the greenhouses house the oldest collection of camellias in the world, bicentenary orange trees and thousands of plants brought back from the Congo. An exotic visit in the king's private garden not to be missed.

Un endroit magnifique en plein cœur de Bruxelles. Un seul regret : que ce ne soit pas ouvert plus longtemps dans l'année afin de réduire l'attente. Sinon, à faire une fois absolument !

Open during 3 weeks only horse over the months of April and May, these greenhouses give visitors the opportunity to discover there specimens of flowers of great rarity and particularly beautiful.
