One can simply say that it is the most beautiful bookshop in Brussels. This well-made head is also well filled. The bookshop specialises in literature, humanities and fine arts. The children's department is also very well stocked. The advice is excellent. If you are shy, you can rely on the post-its left by the staff with their impressions.

Imported from Italy, the formula is attractive: from 5pm, you can sip a Spritz or a glass of wine on the terrace while nibbling on some antipasti. At lunchtime, you can eat simple dishes, salads or sandwiches. Also nice are the second-hand book market, the evening parties, the concerts and the DJ sets before the evening. On the reading side, because this is a bookshop, the staff offers to discover or rediscover Italy in its original version, but also bilingual, French or Dutch. It's just that with thousands of international civil servants drained by the European Commission, there's a need for a bookstore carrying works on European laws and regulations. If you've applied for a European Commission position and you're invited to pass a test, this is where you'll find all you need to know. If you fail, you can always prepare for an informed trip in the basement level, where travel guides chat in tongues with dictionnaries.
