Haute Antiques Gallery is an antiques store offering a wide selection of antique items. In fact, no fewer than 25 antique dealers are represented in the 2,500m2 space. Already, the store's facade is a thing of beauty. Inside, it's a feast for the eyes too. If you love vintage from the 1950s to the 1970s, you're in for a treat: armchairs, crockery, lighting, sideboards... a few "ethnic" pieces, but plenty of Italian, Scandinavian, French and Belgian design. A decorator's dream!

RETROFAKTORY

Antique shop €€

Do you like vintage? At Retrofaktory, the entire second half of the 20th century is highlighted, from the 1940s to the 1980s, with a special focus on the 1950s-1960s period. Designer lamps and sconces, Scandinavian sideboards, small designer decorations... all nicely set up by the owner who recreates the rooms of a house: an office, a living room, a dining room, to better give an idea to the customers of the place that could occupy a piece of furniture. It's a feast for the eyes but beware, good taste has a price.

COSTERMANS

Antique shop

Two brothers (one an ironworker and the other a decorator) decided to create the sign near the Grand Sablon. This was in 1839. Since then, Costermans has remained in the family and the sixth generation is now in action. Its speciality is the 18th century: French furniture, antique fireplaces and accessories (Costermans has the world's largest collection of firebacks!), restoration of works of art (e.g. the gates of the Parc Royal, the Saint-Cyr Hotel...), exterior and interior lanterns...

ALAIN-MICHEL ANTIQUITÉ

Antique shop

1 review

We have to talk about superlatives for this antiques showroom: the Alain-Michel house has 50 years of experience (the grandchildren of Alain-Michel Bienaimé now run the business) and the exhibition space is no less than 2,500m2! Enough to show furniture and objects from the 16th to the 18th century. As for the furniture, they are quite imposing pieces. The store's specialties are the Chesterfield armchairs, directly imported from England, and the industrial furniture that seduce with their clear lines and raw materials.
