Located inside the Parque Zonal, this recent museum was inaugurated in 2014. Contemporary works and some special exhibitions to pay tribute to Amazonian creativity and creation. A nice idea that lacks an audience, but it's interesting to see the colorful works of today's Amazon. You can also learn more about the history of Iquitos and its population or about the geography and biodiversity of the region. A final room is dedicated to the artistic and ethnographic materials that have been bequeathed to the city.
