A historical jewel in the heart of the city. In the rubber age, this house belonged to Luis Morey, a ship captain. Since then, it has been restored to its original condition by the biologist Richard Bodmer and his wife Tula Frang. Its rooms are huge and all have a bathroom in azulejos. Their decoration is sober but the whole has cachet. If you don't like old buildings with their little practical flaws (dripping water, noise) this is not for you. The same team is behind the Museo de Barcos Historicos.
