FESTIVAL DE LA PRIMAVERA

Trujillo celebrates the arrival of spring with flowers and colors. This festival which takes possession of the city is worth the visit, because it consists especially of a gigantic parade of flowered floats with the de rigueur beauty queens. If we add to this the presentations of the very elegant dance of the marinera and the expert handling of the caballos de paso, it is a real moment of celebration that is shared with the inhabitants. The Huaca de la Luna is the setting for a fashion show. Everywhere gastronomic specialties and other ferias are honored.
