CASA RURAL INTIMACHAY

This rustic house belongs to Jabier Farje, an expert guide of the area and especially of the Laguna de los Condores. It has 3 double/matrimonial or triple rooms with private bathroom and hot water. It is simple but well kept. Jabier is a great talker (in Spanish) and Maria an excellent cook. It's a good place to stay for those on a budget who want to do the trek or discover the surrounding ruins such as those of Peña Calata. We are a bit out of the village, about 5 minutes walk from the museum of Leymebamba.
