LA BELLA DURMIENTE

Located southwest of the city of Tingo María, "Sleeping Beauty" is a mountain range covered by a green blanket of lush vegetation called Puma Ringri (puma ears) that forms the silhouette of an eternally sleeping beauty at the base of which flow the Huallaga and Monzón rivers. It reaches an altitude of 1,075 meters. This natural beauty can be seen from anywhere in the city, but the best view is from the "San Francisco - Mirador la Cruz" hill to the north of the city at noon and at sunset.
