HACIENDA CACHIGAGA

In this old hacienda, 10 km from the center, we can see the production and distillation of the cane alcohol. The average production is 180 tons per month. The visit includes a tasting of nectars, honeys, brandies and rum... Honorato Lopez, the owner, can even show you around his personal home, which is worthy of a small museum, if you meet him. On Sundays the Hacienda organizes events with presentations of caballos de paso, music, dances and traditional dishes.
