LA HUAMANGINA

In the historic center, this small popular cantina offers quality regional cuisine. The setting is clean, open to the patio of the house and the cuisine simple, rooted in the purest local tradition: cuy, chicharrón, truchas... often fried. It's not an elegant restaurant but it's a well kept place so it's safe to try Ayacucho recipes or Peruvian classics at low prices with Andean music. The Puca Picante, a dish made with pork, spices and crushed vegetables, is to be tried at least once.
