It is a stroll that goes along the mountain by the back and it is not very frequented, because contrary to the rest of the site, we lose of sight the heart of the ruins. This Inca bridge was another entrance to Machu Picchu in its time. The bridge itself is rather small, but following this path allows you to get away from the crowd, enjoy smaller ruins but just as full of energy. The scenery and views change with each step. Once the hike is over (about 1 hour round trip) you join circuit 1 or 2 which dives into the heart of the ruins.
