This alley is strangled by two imposing Inca walls. The one on the left (from the Plaza de Armas), was an aclla wasi, a house of the Virgins of the Sun; today, it supports the Santa Catalina church. The one on the right was a piece of the Amarukancha or house of the snakes, the palace of Wayna Cápac, of which a door of typical trapezoidal form remains. Nowadays, the alleyway runs alongside the Direction de Cultura de Cusco, and the gardens, which can be seen through large windows, can be visited.

Très belle ruelle qui retrace l'histoire le bas des bâtiments en superbes blocs de pierre appartiennent aux incas et sont surélevés à la période espagnole qui ont moins bien résisté aux séismes. Nous avons eu la chance de d'assister à des rites incas et côtoyer les marchandes de mais.
