At the bottom of the hill of Santa Ana, there are small streets that are populated with well located hotels within walking distance of the Plaza San Francisco or Recocijo and of course the Plaza de Armas. Bonus, here there is no need to climb like in San Blas. The Mallqui is a small, cozy hotel with tight prices and a quiet atmosphere of travelers from all walks of life. Warm tones, wooded balconies, Andean decoration and private and cozy rooms (up to quadruples). A good formula for tighter budgets that don't want the backpacker atmosphere.
