CASA TRISTÁN DEL POZO

The Casa Tristán del Pozo, completed in 1738, is impressive with its portal and frieze supported by Tuscan columns. Today it houses the Banco Continental and the Pedro Brescia Caffetera art gallery which presents watercolours by local painters. Another beautiful building typical of the Arequipa region that is worth a visit. Its entrance is magnificent and when you enter the first patio you can contemplate its superb tiled floor and very well maintained. The arches to get to the second patio are also worth seeing.
