A rather simple restaurant lost on São Jorge. It has to be said that this part of the island is immaculate and restaurants aren't exactly a dime a dozen (or rather, fajãs!). This may well be the only option on your itinerary, and it's not too bad. Here you'll find mainly fish, freshly caught in the morning. The specialty is ameijoas (local clams). What will leave you breathless, however, is the setting in which you'll be eating. The view of the seafront from the large glassed-in dining room is simply breathtaking.

Very good fish restaurant with sea views. The owner does not speak English but shows fish on his book. The cuisine is very good, the correct prices. We could taste local clams.
