It's the largest and most populous of the island's fajãs. It's also the most modern. Although it lacks the charm of its neighbors, it is nevertheless very popular in summer, thanks to its microclimate and its natural pools: one for children, near the quay; the second, near the small lighthouse; the last, spectacular, on the left of the village looking out to sea. A miradouro on the road leading to the fajã allows you to appreciate its beauty and astonishing location, between the vertiginous peaks of the north coast and the silhouette of Graciosa languishing on the horizon when the sky is perfectly clear.
