Charming hotel made up of basalt houses housing 8 suites, 16 studios and 16 rooms in Lajes Do Pico.
A charming hotel in a magnificent setting. The establishment is composed of basalt houses that house 8 suites, 16 studios and 16 rooms. The concept is that of a green hotel, built in harmony with the surrounding environment and above all in the heart of a superb lush garden and an endemic forest overlooking the ocean. Wonderful hikes are possible on the property, but the peace and purity of nature also invite you to relax and meditate. Swimming pool, natural swimming pool nearby, restaurant, sauna, fitness room...

The swimming pool is quite far from the residence (6-7mn distance on a standard trail " randonnée") and no bar nearby. If you want to drink something, you need to return to the express restaurant. Spent 18:30, this one is not available anymore for aperitifs, because the tables are set up for dinner.
If the access to the pool and natural pool offers views absolutely stunning, note that the access is difficult: footpath, difficult stairs and it is necessary to plough along between the rocks to reach the natural swimming pool. So be careful if you have young children or that you have difficulties walking e.g.
Unfortunately, despite setting, the stay will have been déceptif: staff is not very friendly and lacks professionalism. Our room was very humid and the bathroom was not modern. The restaurant, apparently one of the best of the island, is not bad, but does not deserve this title. Finally, over the 3 days that we passed there, the shop was never open.
