René is a professional French guide of Lyonnais origin, based in the Azores, on Pico. He organizes hikes to Mount Pico, for the day or even the evening, including a night in the crater to admire the sunset and sunrise. He'll give you plenty of information on the geology and botany of this superb mountain. Be careful, you're looking with your eyes: don't move a stone, or you'll make him angry. A safe bet, though.

An excellent mountain guide approved, French, which has lived Pico for 14 years and knows the island like its pocket. This Sir, very set in botany, discover the "green" wonders endemic to the island. Mountain side it is a very qualified sedentary and multilingual guide (it speak 5 languages!). Its thorough knowledge in geology and volcanic makes up with the volcano real classes of natural sciences, during which it describes the extraordinary journey of the rocks, the volcano...

A very instructive experience, in French!
