SERRA DO MORIÃO (SERRA DA NASCE ÁGUA)

Also called Serra da Nasce Água, Serra do Morião is an ancient volcano located at the exit of Angra do Heroísmo which rises to 632 meters above sea level. At the top, its caldera Guilherme Moniz is the largest water reservoir in Terceira and one of the largest in the archipelago.
