We come here to taste the famous "Cozido das Furnas", which is particularly successful. It is a stew where different types of meat and vegetables are placed in a casserole dish that is boiled for a few hours in Furnas' calderas. The dish is copious, well served and often sufficient for 2 people. A good choice of local wines and desserts, the "Delicia de pineapple" is excellent. The restaurant is spacious, with a pleasant regional-inspired decoration and helpful staff. Beautiful terrace outside.

Very good restaurant, friendly service. We enjoyed the famous cozido (for the day before) that we saw cooking by the lake, it is an excellent memory. We are here to return to the next day.
