Une maison historique qui permet de rentrer dans la vie passionnante d'Hemingway! Se plonger à l'époque où l'auteur vivait à Key West était vraiment intéressant.

Visite très sympathique de la maison d'Ernest Hemingway. Un peu cher toute fois pour visiter une maison.

Les fameux chats qui demeurent toujours dans la maison ont 6 griffes.
58 chats peupleraient la demeure. La plupart portent des noms de célébrités : Hilary Clinton, Shakespeare... Ces derniers sont habitués du public constant et peuvent être approchés facilement.

A Key West, la visite de la maison du célèbre écrivain est assez incontournable et pleine de charme. La demeure est bien conservée. Le jardin tropical est sympa. Nous avons pu y voir les chats polydactyles descendants de ceux d'Hemingway.

Très joli maison où on découvre la vie d'Ernest Hemingway notamment son bureau construit dans une annexe de la maison surplombant la piscine. C'est un lieu reposant ou vagabondent les célèbres chats aux 6 orteils !

Magnifique demeure à visiter. Tout est laissé en l'état. Bon guide explicatif remis à l'entrée afin de profiter pleinement de la visite. Il y a même son cimetière à chat !
Éviter les heures de pointes ( 11h à 15h) sinon trop de monde pour tout bien voir.

Uu peu cher pour une maison : 13 $ mais on y passe un moment agreable ( s'il n y a pas trop de monde)
pour ceux qui ne parlent pas l'anglais , demander la brochure en Français on y apprend des details interressants , tel que l'endroit ou est la derniere piece d'Hemingway .....

The house of Hemingway is a must-see sites, that it is the house or the garden where the cats with 6 fingers reign as a Master, according to the wishes of the writer who dedicated a real passion with its cats, it even made to make a copy of his house in miniature for there habriter its animals and the recipe of the tours is mainly used to keep them. Reigns an atmosphere so impressed by the ghost of the writer who believes almost hear the noise of his typewriter, always on the table where he left it... just like the rest of the house. On the edge of coping of the pool room is set, symbol in the eyes of the ruins that it because construction of the pool by his wife in its absence... this is also where the universe of the house of Hemigway, full of funny anecdotes!
