Very good value hotel with a swimming pool, offering bright rooms and suites with a view of the sea
Located just across the street from Fort Lauderdale's long, beautiful beach, this modern Sonesta hotel has 240 newly renovated rooms, including 24 bright, functional suites that all have ocean views. The on-site Steelpan restaurant offers good Caribbean-style Floridian cuisine overlooking the beach. Other amenities include private beach access, a fitness club and an outdoor pool. A great value for the money.

We just got back 2 days ago ,
Rooms : The rooms are a bit on the smaller side , but extremely clean. The view of the ocean was magnificent . Bathroom was modern .
Service: We landed really early around 8:30 am , and met EVELYN at the front desk . I’m from the hospitality industry and the warmth and kindness shown by her felt like family .
She arranged our beach loungers took care of our luggage and managed to check us in by 11 am . The front desk experience we had on arrival set the tone . Props to ROSA too for being right there with everything.
Location: It’s on the North corner of the main strip , busy road but surrounded by bars and restaurants, $8 Uber to Los Olas and all
Its restaurants. Do not miss Nanous Sunrise a coffee shop next to the hotel, and if you love spicy the Thai restaurant next door .
The Pool Bar was manned by Andy who was very friendly and attentive.
I guess overall my Experience and Impression of Sonesta was the People . They made our two night stay worth it .

Do not go here. The only reason they’re getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the location. But even at that, the ridiculous daily charge for beachfront access/the chair on the beach, should not exist. I work at a hotel and I’ve stayed at many in my life, including beachfront ones that had their own beach chairs, and that is not right. We’re already paying for beachfront and chairs are pretty standard to be included.
Beyond that, the service is nonexistent. We called for some milk to the room (because you get coffee pods but no creamer or milk to add to it) but I was put on hold 3 times by the front desk woman before I could finally ask for it. Only for her to tell me I had to call the restaurant for that, so she transfers me to the restaurant. The man who picked up said he’s busy and will call me back. I’m still waiting on the call back. My stay was 2 weeks ago. What a disaster you guys are. Geez.
Bathrooms were severely underwhelming, the shampoo dispenser was empty upon arrival. We asked for someone to come fill it. They never came.
I will say though, that the view was very nice and location was convenient. But there are many other hotels with the same view and convenient location. Go literally anywhere else along the coast. Sonesta is not worth it. Hope you guys up your service game.

Beautiful location - tons of walking distance bars and pubs. Wonderful attentive staff! And the Valet staff are on point!!!

Our room was large with great big picture window to look at the amazing view of the waterfront!!
We enjoyed our breakfast at The Steelpan restaurant!! I enjoyed eggs, Benedict with ham and my husband enjoyed large delicious buffet ????
We had relaxing time at the beach and hotel pool ????????
We enjoyed dinner at the Steelpan restaurant ???? I had delicious Angus Beef Burger and fries and husband Cuban Pork sandwich !! Both of us enjoyed our dinner ????
