Riverfront park, home of the Jacksonville Jazz Festival and 4th of July celebrations, boats on site
The park, located on the river, hosts the annual Jacksonville Jazz Festival and many other concerts for up to 10,000 people. Metropolitan Park is also the site of the Fourth of July (Independence Day) celebrations. You can also rent a boat to take a ride on the river. The park has playgrounds for children, picnic areas, various gardens and a long walk along the river. It's a great place to spend a relaxing afternoon!
