One of Jacksonville's only bed & breakfasts, with 11 spacious, tastefully decorated rooms.
The Riverdale Inn is one of Jacksonville's only bed & breakfasts . You'll fall under the spell of this historic building with its pastel-blue wooden facade. The 11 rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated, combining modern comforts with fine antique furnishings. Special mention must go to the breakfast, a veritable institution with signature omelettes, eggs cooked to order, pecan waffles, blueberry muffins... accompanied by locally roasted coffee. A true haven of peace close to all the city's attractions.

Beautiful property in a calm neighborhood of Jacksonville. It is a huge home, repurposed as a B&B. It's very quiet, nicely appointed, and the check-in process is easy. The front door remains locked, and the parking area is well-illuminated. We could not take advantage of the tea and breakfast services due to our short stay, but the dining and other social areas on the main floor are lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. I give it 5 stars because it really fulfilled all our needs during our short stay in Jacksonville.

My husband was scheduled to have surgery at St. Vincent’s but surgery was rescheduled for a later date. I called and canceled my reservation 3 1/2 days prior to our stay. Was told I had to pay 100% in cancellation fee. What a rip off. Also, hotel does not have an elevator. Steer clear of this place!

My daughter and I took my grand daughter to the tea room for her 11th birthday. The house was beautiful and the area just amazing. The tea room was very pretty. The little sandwiches and deserts were lovely. However, I have this constructive criticism: The server was very sweet and did a great job, but I felt should be dressed a little nicer then a wrinkled jumper shorts. The tea box that was presented had nothing special. Half empty except the Lipton tea bags and some that looked like they were purchased at the local grocery store. I think there was 3 or 4 to choose from. We were the only ones there, I would have thought we could sit at a better table then the small one with three chairs that was in a corner facing a wall. Had I arrived first I would have requested a different table and I'm sure they would accommodate since no one else was there. The music was ok because we were there with an 11 yr old. Otherwise it should have been more than old pop songs. I expected just a touch more for the price.
