Piazza della Rotonda owes its name not only to its round shape(rotonda in Italian), but also to its flagship monument, the Pantheon, which after the year 1000 was named the church of Santa Maria Rotonda.

Une très belle place où se trouve une magnifique fontaine et le Panthéon. Il est très agréable d'y passer en début de journée avant qu'il y ait trop de monde.
