Visit this palace and admire the decoration with painted stucco and murals.
In the 15th century, Martin V Colonna settled his family in this palace. The current building dates from 1730 and has painted stucco and wall paintings, mainly dedicated to Marcantonio Colonna, winner of the Turkish Lepanto competition. The steps leading to the grand salon were reportedly hit by a bullet fired by French artillery in 1849! To see: a Narcissus at the Tintoretto fountain and a Veronese ceiling. Among the artists on display are also Ghirlandaio, Palma le Vieux, Guerchin, Rubens, Guido Reni or Hannibal Carrache.
