Street, with a beautiful view, between the Colosseum and the Capitol in Rome.
Along Via dei Fori Imperiali are the ruins (on the right coming from the Colosseum) of this other piece of Roman history, a large part of which was buried in 1932 by the Fascist government to clear the traffic of Piazza Venezia and to provide a setting for military parades. The creation of the Via dei Fori Imperiali was highly criticized. The imperial forums, the center of political activity in ancient Rome, built between 46 BC and 113, consist of the Foro di Cesare, the Foro di Augusto, the Foro di Nerva and the Foro di Traiano.
