Staying on the Aventine is perhaps the secret desire of everyone who visits Rome. It's a magnificent pastel-colored private villa that since 1960 has been transformed into a charming hotel, where elegance, romantic atmosphere and discretion guarantee an unforgettable stay. Leaving the hotel and strolling along the quiet streets of the hillside, past the imposing Benedictine monastery, you arrive at the famous Piazza dei Cavalieri di Malta, where you can admire the dome of St. Peter's Basilica through the famous keyhole in the portal of the Knights' priory.
